CSC246 - Operating Systems

Right now i am sitting in this class trying to learn. But this class sucks and is impossible to pay attention in. I wish i had that form code i was working on at home on this machine so i could work on it. At least then i would actually not be wasting my time. Bah these stupid classes are gay.

Quake 4

I don't know why I play quake 4 because it sucks balls. Instant-hit 100 damage guns are stupid and should never be in competition.

Blood

I gave blood for the first time in my life yesterday. They told me it will save a life. I think they are right. I felt a little dizzy afterwards, but today I felt great! TeamDRT is getting their act back in gear. Holidays really slowed us down. Thats all I got for now.I

Today I started lifting again and man I missed it. Just makes you feel good to work out. Not a real busy day at work. Made a fiber optic oneline diagram to show fiber optic runs and length. Just the beginning stages, but it is coming together. Ordered some maintenance devices and worked a little on hiring some new drafters.

Life

Today I went to work. Had a safety meeting in the morning @ 7:45am. Spent time doing safety stuff until about 10am. Then got a golf cart from preventive maintenance dude and went out to the mainsub to put tarps on some gas containers filled with SF6 gas and dry nitrogen. I put one tarp on. Then started to do some work on powerlogics (a circuit monitor to give us feedback on our power system). I couldnt change what I wanted to while the system was online so I headed back. Got some lunch, and finished up some loose ends with autocad. Thought you cats might be interested on what I do at work every now and then. Tonight Donna is coming in town and we are going to the Nucor Christmas party at the Aquarium. Afterwards we are going to go out downtown.
